I have loved animals since a very young girl and have spent the better part of my career ensuring animals in my care are safe and happy.

My career started as a Guard Dog Handler in the British Army, working with German Shepherds, Dobermans and Rottweilers. I was then selected to train as an Arms, Explosive Search Dog Handler. During this time, I worked with many different breeds and learned about first aid, behavioural issues and management, training and grooming. I have owned Weimaraners and Rhodesian Ridgebacks and have first hand knowledge of training and working HPRs and high energy dogs. I also fostered for Great Dane Rescue. I have owned or cared for a number of other animals, from snakes and reptiles, to guinea pigs, gerbils and hamsters. I have even cared for lions on a game reserve in South Africa!

For 6 years, I owned and ran a busy luxury boarding kennels in Devon. We catered for up to 32 dogs and their welfare and happiness was always my  top priority. We had many repeat customers and recommendations from across the country.
